For us, Provence is one of those places that no matter how many times you visit, always seems fresh and new.
I guess there is some kind of “whitchcraft” involved in this process, because this clashes with the fact that time seems to never pass there.
When you’re there, you feel like in a time capsule, where everything is slow, full of history and genuine. There’s this aura of easiness and dolce-far-niente in Provence, that’s prather difficult to find elsewhere.
The lavender scent, the humming of the bees, some fresh-from-the-oven baguettes with a piece of cheese and a glass of red wine, some cherries for desert and no wi-fi or telephone signal…isn’t this paradise?
Here are some pictures from one of our weekend getaways in Provence, back in 2016.
